(PMI-RMP) ® certification provides recognition of one’s competency and expertise in risk management processes of planning and identifying project risks that include both threats and opportunities. A four-year degree (bachelor’s or the global equivalent), with at least 3,000 hours of project risk management experience and 30 hours of project risk management education.

Analyzing Risks Using Quantitative Methods for determining probability of achieving cost and time objectives, calculating appropriate contingency reserves, understanding concepts of modelling and simulation techniques such as Monte Carlo. Expected Monetary Value (EMV), Tornado Diagramming, etc.
Risk Response Planning through use of the appropriate strategies to handle both positive and negative risks and understanding the concepts of residual and secondary risks.
Controlling Risk using the ITTO as suggested in PMBOK® Guide.
